Goucher College is proud to announce that Michele Y. Ewing will be the college's new vice president for advancement. Ewing will lead all development, fundraising, and alumnae/i functions of the college, including completion of the [UNDAUNTED] capital campaign and expanding efforts to secure funding from foundations, governmental agencies, and the corporate sector to better support faculty and students.
"Michele joins us at a time of great uncertainty in higher education and the world at large due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic, so her skills and years of experience will serve us well during these especially turbulent times," said Kent Devereaux, Goucher College president. "I am confident that her vast higher education leadership and fundraising experience will be an incredible asset for our college."
Ewing joins the college with more than 20 years of fundraising, strategic planning,and constituent engagement experience in higher education. As the associate dean of development and external relations at Johns Hopkins University, Ewing led the Johns Hopkins School of Education's $55 million portion of the university's capital campaign.
