MICA supported diversity with benefit student fashion show

Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) hosted its the 26th Annual Benefit Fashion Show this weekend. Titled Catalyst, the runway event showcased 15 fashion lines from 18 of the university's students.

Designers who participated in the event included Amir Khadar, Anthony Chukwu, Chance Mason, Cristy Rodriguez, Daisy Braun, Dasha Burobina, Hannah Ahn, Yuchae Lee, Hannah Moog, Kristen Tapia, Joy Li, Max Cortes, Patricia Chevez, Pei Jung Ho, Reuben Francois, Saloni Shah, Gianna Chun and Sam Zanowski.

The emerging designers selected for the show created work that demonstrates an active consciousness and speaks to change through activism, sustainability, politics, technology, diversity or other current themes.
