MICUA Matters
Spring 2008
On February 7, more than 150 college and university students and leaders traveled to Annapolis for Maryland Independent Higher Education Day. Each year, MICUA organizes a day of visits with legislators to thank them for their support of the Sellinger Program—the vehicle for providing support for independent institutions for 35 years—and to ask for their continued support. Students and school officials also expressed their appreciation for State funding of capital projects on campuses around the State.
