On April 6, 2010, the Maryland Governor’s Grants Office launched a new website to include current postings of available State grants on its homepage, www.grants.maryland.gov.
“With this new application, we now have a place where Marylanders easily can see what grants the State has to offer and, with a click of a mouse button, find everything they need to know about the grant—like eligibility requirements, due dates, how to apply, and contact information,” said Governor Martin O’Malley. “Another new tool on the site enables Marylanders to track where federal tax dollars are flowing in the State.”
The revised site still includes old features like lists of foundations in each county, grants specialists at State agencies and local jurisdictions throughout Maryland, an annual report of federal funds flowing into Maryland, and access to free training on how to find, win, and manage grants, including several newly recorded webinars.
